Thank you for visiting my website. At Mark Jarman Yoga we practice a method of yoga that involves a progressively demanding and flowing sequence of postures synchronised to uplifting music. A process that will produce a strong internal heat, ultimately leading to a detoxification of the body. The result is improved circulation, a light, strong, flexible body, and a calm mind. Each class will have a structured approach involving; Breath Awareness (Pranayama), General Stretching and Opening, Vinyasa (Breath –Synchronized Movement), Asana (steady posture – forward, backward, side bend, spinal twist, balance, strength) and Relaxation (5-15 minute complete guided relaxation)

Yoga for Atheletes
Yoga improves your performance through improved focus, enhanced breathing, greater balance, flexibility, core strength, and endurance.
Yoga is becoming increasingly popular as a tool for improving athletic performance and preventing injury. Ryan Giggs, Andy Murray, Serena Williams and The New Zealand All Blacks, to name only a few, all tap into the immense power of Yoga. Whatever your sport or your profession you will benefit from having a Yoga practice. At Mark Jarman Yoga we can also adapt and develop bespoke programmes for your particular need and requirement. From an athletes (whether competitor or instructor) point of view, a balanced body means fewer injuries, less discomfort and therefore – most crucially – more time out there doing what you do best.

Yoga for Corporates
“Stress and back pain are two key factors leading to sickness absence at work, costing the British economy an estimated £17 Billion per year” – Journal of Occupational Medicine.
Improve Employee Productivity – Improve Employee Health – Minimise Sick Absence – Improve Decision Making – Improve Creativity – Provide Stress Management – Improve Morale.
’Yoga for Corporates’ gives your staff the opportunity to experience calmness of mind in the work place. By taking a little time out from the day-today stresses and pressures of the job employees will be re-energised. This will enable them to tackle their jobs with fresh clarity and vitality. Opening the body and working with the breath engages the body’s parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the body to normalise, gradually improving health and posture, defeating fatigue, increasing alertness, improving productivity, increasing health and well-being, and reducing sickness.
